Course Eligibility Age Duration
Certificate Course in Sanskrit. A pass in +2 / Any Degree Min 17 years. No Upper Age Limit August to April
Diploma Course in Sanskrit. A pass in Certificate Course in Sanskrit

The Classes for these programmes will be conducted on Saturdays & Sundays only. No upper age limit for both Courses. No Prior Sanskrit knowledge required for Certificate course in Sanskrit.

Course Fee : (i) for Certificate Course : Rs. 4000/- , (ii) for Diploma Course : Rs. 5000/- apart from Examination fee. Cost of Application : Rs. 50/- available from the College Office.

Candidate who have passed Degree and also have completed Diploma Course in Sanskrit, are eligible to appear Sanskrit M.A. Course of Madras University.

Admission Procedure:

  • Admission to the college is through an Entrance test.
  • Eligibility: Should have passed anyone of the following examinations: SSLC/OSLC/Vedadhyayanam/Agama course/+2/any degree with Sanskrit.
  • All necessary certificates in original such as Transfer Certificate, mark list, date of birth certificate etc. from the institution where the applicant studied previously, should be submitted at the time of admission.
  • Copies of the following Certificates should be enclosed along with the application:
    • S.S.L.C/ O.S.L.C/ Matriculation/ Vedadhyayanam/ Agamadhyayanam Pass certificate/ +2/ Degree/ Siromani Madhyama.
    • Transfer Certificate.
    • Conduct Certificate.
  • Application form will be issued from the month of April every year.
  • Parents/guardians shall submit the application form to the office by the first week of June.
  • The Entrance Test will be conducted by the college on the dates to be notified by the Principal.
  • Entrance test will be held in (1) English (2) Sanskrit
  • The Principal has the right to accept or reject any application. The decision of the Principal is final in all matters.
  • Last date for the receipt of Application: 31st July of every year.
  • College Fee: The college offers education free of cost and no fee is collected towards teaching, boarding and Lodging.
  • Original certificates shall be submitted only at the time of admission.
